(bumping this once because i posted last night at 2am and it was a school night.)
So i have resumed playing Cities Skylines the last couple weeks, and I just want to share some pictures.
If you play the game through Steam, you get to subscribe free to mods and things from the workshop. CS has a HUGE selection of mods and props and you can customize everything from the lighting to buildings to the planes, and of course cars. Here are some cars that I have subscribed to:
Renault Megane
BMW E46
There must be some major Mercedes fans, since someone made W124 and W201 for the game:
A Tesla, because why not:
A couple of crossovers: Mazda CX-5 and RR Evoque:
A mini:
A Euro Focus (oh, a the new beetle too)
And finally, some old school Porsche turbo goodness:
The graphics are not great because they have to keep the graphics compact and easy to load for such a graphics intensive game, but they are all pretty recognizable. There are more cars on the workshop too.
And now I have fulfilled my duty as an Oppo person, here is some shots from my newest creation:
And after dicking around with photoshop i managed to make a cute wallpaper from a screenshot too.

... Why am I so damn interested in this map?

The map is actually pretty sweet. It is called “two tile Isle” and it is exactly what it says: the Island is essentially only 1.5 tiles. The mapmaker made this one with roads already so you dont need to spend time doing the master plan, but he has a road-less version too if you want the extra headache. The water is pretty forceful going down the waterfall so be careful with the hydro-dam placement.

It’s like a map from Anno.
I approve of this.

Thanks. I didnt make the map, i just downloaded it from steam. I am still working on the other city and I need a palate cleanser to get my building juices flowing. This i made in 2 days.

There are some GREAT details for this map. The dude has put some time into this. For example, on top of the hill just outside the city borders in a non-buyable area, he put together an abandoned castle prop that would make a great attraction (i told him he should put it out there as a unique building on the workshop).

That BMW reminds me of NFS High Stakes for some reason.

The W201 is the 190. I assume you meant to say W210.
For reference, this is a W201:
And this is a W210:

Still needs a Streets of Simcity style add-on.

Man I wish I could run Skylines comfortably on my computer. It runs, but it’s hella laggy.
I’ve just been playing SimCity 4.

My computer is an i5-6600K with a SSD and HDD and a GTX1050Ti card and it runs OK. Not best, but OK. I have lots of mods and assets though.

Alt title: what people wish they could do in their crossovers
